I have known Addison for several years now! I've had the privilege of photographing her surprise engagement and her wedding! We share an deep love of all things vintage and pyrex. Pretty much kindred spirits when it comes to that. I worked with her husband at a Winery and we kept in touch after we both stopped working there! It's so much fun being friends with Corey and Addison and I'm so excited to share this new endeavor of Addison's with you all!
Addison called me up and told me that she wanted photos of her macarons taken for her new business, "Sweet Tea's Sweets"! I have loved macarons from afar and hadn't really tried them but always adored their sheer cuteness! I, of course, asked if I could sample a few. She made me Lavender, Raspberry with chocolate filling and Earl Gray flavored macarons (pronounced mah/kah/roh) and there was a party in my mouth and my tummy!! SO incredible!! Addison definitely has a talent for making these! Before Addison was making these, I decided to take a stab at making some myself. These things are NOT simple to make. It takes a special touch. Suffice to say, I destroyed them and vowed never to attempt these again but rather to have Addison make all the macarons I'll ever need in the future!
Addison said that it's very relaxing for her to come home from her day being a teacher and to go to her kitchen and make these little beauties. Her love in these shines through in their appearance and taste! She is starting to sell these! If you are interested in purchasing some from her, she is working on setting up a Facebook and a website to take orders!! How lovely would it be to have some macarons to top off your Easter dinner or to even put in an Easter basket!! What a delectable little treat! FEAST your eyes on this literal eye candy:
