The McKinney's signed up for my second Blitz to benefit my brother and sister in law! So this is my second session with them (Minus Jason)
We went to the Rail Trail and just hung out! With a one year old, you just gotta go with the flow. But it turned out to be a very awesome lifestyle session here! Just a family being together and I'm just along for the ride!
Harper is a doll and an adorable one at that! She kept us all entertained and smiling!
The journey of being a photograph is always fun. There's always something new to learn with whatever I do. Some lessons are harder than others, but there are some learning experiences that you just benefit from so much and one I learned a long time ago was how it was photographing children, especially at a young age. They basically run the show and you just have to be as flexible as possible so they cooperate and smile! Being a mom myself I've learned how to handle kids when it comes to taking their photos. Just this past weekend, I had a session with two school age kids and the one girl said to me "I like you. You're nice." To say my heart melted would be an understatement (their session is coming to the blog, so stick around!) I love kids, I love taking their photos and I love working with them!
So here's the McKinney's!
Kisses for Daddy
Harper is SO beautiful!!
And so is her mama!
Harper likes to give mommy and daddy something and then take it back.
A little girl in a big world, but she's got mommy and daddy to hold her hands and kiss her cheeks!
Harper likes to be upside down!
She had a couple of moments, but was resilient to be smiling the next!
Love ya, hon - and love these pics. Thank you SO MUCH for making us look so great! Can't wait for our next session - and maybe a Lucy/Harper playdate? xoxo
