I used my friends to be my models for my new etsy shop, Polka Dot's Vintage. I have a few dresses I'm listing to sell and want to display my shop items professionally rather than taking a photo of each article of clothing hanging on a hanger. This way, you can see the dress and see how it falls. We had so much fun doing this. We shot on my best friend's parent's property. They own 2 horses and have a great venue! I've been friends with these girls since we were in 5th grade. I used to change Dee an Janna's diapers. Had to say it. Cause when you can, it's just a crazy thing to say!

I have known Chrissy and Dennis for quite some time. It doesn't feel like it though. I remember telling Chrissy about my husband before we were even dating (we're celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary this week), Chrissy (and Dennis) and I worked in AWANA at our church together (does anyone remember AWANA? lol) and mostly, Chrissy and I have kept in touch over the internet (started with myspace and migrated over to Facebook, hahaha I feel old). They have moved away, moved back, moved away and then moved back! I would say we've got quite a history. Dennis just recently came back from a 6 month deployment, so I felt honored for Chrissy to ask me to take their photos since their reuniting! So much fun! You can see how much they care and love for each other just in these photos. It truly is a dominating theme here. I'm so glad that they're back in each others arms and returning to normal life. My dad was a Navy pilot and frequently left and missed holidays and birthdays and my husband had to leave for three months for training for his job, so I'm no stranger to missing your loved one. It's a beautiful thing to see the person you love and missed so terribly after a long time.

Chrissy said one of the things she missed the most about Dennis being gone was having coffee with him. So they had a backyard coffee date.
I'm so pleased to have had the honor to capture this little guys first day! Andrea and I have been friends for...forever. We met through mutual friends and we got closer and closer. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding and went above and beyond the call of a Bridesmaid! We will always be the friends we are, even though time goes by, miles compile in between us and children are born and take up our time. Andrea is a sweet spirit and loving soul and Justin is the perfect match for her! I love these two together. They are each others missing pieces, and now Bryson has helped make them even more complete! What a precious little boy! I've never seen such a tiny little guy. 6 lbs 11 oz Andrea and Justin are natural parents! Please enjoy this tiny creation!
