The Klines | Summer 2013

A little session in Downtown Fredericksburg on Friday of my sister and her family!

Matthews Maternity

On the day I re-launched my photography business and started my Etsy shop, all I wanted for the day was to book ONE session, mini or full, and make ONE sale.  Both happened!! Becca called me on May 18th and asked to schedule her maternity session! She's a hero to me!
I love meeting new people and being a part of their story by capturing a special time in their lives.  Jaxen is due in August! I love maternity sessions. I love babies! Their son is going to be a great big brother. He was a great model and behaved so well for our full hour session.  The weather held out for us until the absolute end of our session because right as I was snapping their last family pose, it started to pour down rain! The Matthews are a sweet family and Jackson is being born into a great life!

Tara And D'Andre | A Sunset Couple

I've known Tara for a while now.  We were in a wedding of a friend together a couple years back and went to the same church.  She's such a sweet girl and comes from a sweet family.  I was so pleased to hear from her wanting a mini session for her and her boyfriend! They've been together for a year and a half and have a mother approved relationship on both ends! The best kind! Haha! This is my first intentional Golden Hour session.  We met on Kings Highway at a local produce stand after hours.  We were the only ones there and took advantage of the vacant area.  It was beautiful as all of King George is.  The Sun was our best friend and gave us some awesome shots!! Please enjoy our sunset mini session celebrating Tara and D'Andre's relationship!

The Rockwell Family

My first mini session of 2013!!!

We decided on Downtown Fredericksburg.  We got there and walked around and found a small dock by the Rappahannock River and also some amazing shade right by some woods. The conditions could not have been more perfect.  Beautiful subjects.  Great lighting situation! I'm SO pleased with these photos.  They're my first official shoot with my new D7000.  I am a happy photographer!

My last session with Ainsley at Christmas time was different.  I didn't have to do so much following with her.  At Christmas time, she just loved the field we went to, but this time she stuck closer to Mom and Dad which made for awesome photographs. My favorite kind.

I love this family.  Enjoy their session!
