Justin, Andrea and Little boy Bryson

And so the family session ensues for these three! My last time photographing them was when Mr. Bryson was in his fresh 48 at the hospital which you can see here.  Now, he's 10 months old and growing up already! I love this family and love the commitment I've seen in these two! They are devoted Redskins fans and are implementing the same devotion into Bryson as you'll see below! He's such a cutie pie and his parents are amazing! I love them both!

The Cecil Clan

The Cecil family starting going to New life right as I was leaving to move to Virginia.  Curtis was switching on and off with me on the keyboard for the Praise Band and I didn't know much about them.  But after I moved, I didn't stop hearing about them!  They have adopted two children, Ella and XJ, from China.  Ella is from Gui Zhou and XJ is from Fu Jian.  They did everything they could to raise money to pay for these adoptions and are now the loving parents for 2 more children!

All together, there are 6 kids! Dakota, Gavin, XJ, Skyler, Ella and Thad! (Oh and Mandy and Curtis lol) Mandy had messaged me for me last Mini Session Blitz but was concerned about the time for the session with such a big crowd.  This time around, she took the plunge with me and I'd say it was a SUCCESS!

Doing an hour session with a larger group is more ideal because there is more time for more combinations and single portraits, but with what we got accomplished in 20 minutes truly shows this families love and dedication to one another.  And seriously, photographing 6 kids and 2 adults in 20 minutes successfully shows how well behaved the kids are! I was blown away with their cooperation!

Please enjoy our Rail Trail session!

The Tippey Family

I've had the privileged of getting to know this family for the past (almost) 4 years (like 3 and a half) and the joy to call them my friends! And they FINALLY called me to take their photos! I've been waiting and waiting! So we decided to do an hour session (which I HIGHLY recommend for larger families.  You get the chance for multiple portraits as you will see below)  We had fun in downtown Fredericksburg and totally took advantage of all the sights to behold.  I adore this location and always highly anticipate the out come of the portraits from this spot!

Now enough of session info, onto this family.

If there is someway to be involved with this family, you can count me as part of that.  Praise team at church, teaching guitar, babysitting, house sitting...we've done it all together! Loura homeschools all the girls and does a fantastic job! I definitely look up to her and hope and plan to do the same with my children and do as great a job as her! Rich has done so much with the praise team at church.  He's our sound guy and owner of the acoustic electric Taylor that I get to play every week.  He always comes in with new ideas and is really helping get us to that place where we want to be with worship at Fredericksburg Wesleyan!  Kara and Rachel are always doing something creative and musical.  Emma adores my daughter and makes her laugh every week.  Lyla is a mini me when it comes to emotion (Rich and Loura, it evens out when they get into their twenties...I think...ask Duane) but she's a hoot and is always entertaining to watch! And Ava is the baby of the family who I have known since she was born.  She cried when she first met me, but I attribute that to not realizing my awesomeness at that point of fresh life.  We're cool now.  She also loves Lucy.

This family has almost taken me in as a stray in Virginia.  Not knowing really anyone when we moved here, they welcomed me and my husband as part of their church and as quick friends.  They bring me 3-4 trash bags of clothes from them to use for Lucy from time to time and I try to return the favor with clothes I grow out of for Kara and Rachel.  This family is genuine.  That's the best word to describe them.  Full of love for each other and those around them.  I'm blessed to be called their friend.

 All of the lovely ladies

I ended up having to bring Lucy to this session and she did really well.  They're laughing here because I was wearing lucy on my back and she was peeking around me to check out what was going on!

Ava get's two blubs of her because I couldn't decide!

 Such beautiful girls!!

I feel like these photos capture the true essence of the Tippey family!
